Nayeli, a visionary artist from Germany, fearlessly navigates the realms of music with a kaleidoscope of influences, reflecting their unique journey as a genderfluid, bisexual and mixed individual. Born to a diverse heritage of Mexican, Indonesian, and German roots, Nayeli draws inspiration from their multicultural background, infusing their art with rich tapestries of sound and introspective lyricism.

Having grown up immersed in classical music, Nayeli eventually found solace in exploring a diverse range of genres, eager to break free from the confines of a competitive environment. Their insatiable curiosity led them to discover and experiment with new sounds, crafting a musical landscape that defies categorisation.

In 2021, Nayeli released their debut EP, a testament to their beginning journey in songwriting and production skills. In 2022, Nayeli unveiled two powerful singles, "Grudges" and "Rage“.

The track "Grudges," produced by their friend Enklertrick, is the angry answer to manipulative and threatening people. Meanwhile, "Rage" incorporates the poignant chanting of protests organised by the feminist collective "Lastesis" and is serving as a powerful artistic response to the femicides plaguing Mexico. Nayeli's music transcends genres, including elements of pop, electronic, industrial, and trap, painting a vivid sonic landscape that demands attention.

As an artist, Nayeli embraces the concept of multiple personas, mirroring their fluid view of gender and society. Through hyperfeminine, hypermasculine, and their authentic self, they explore the vast spectrum of identity, challenging societal norms and conventions. 

Driven by a desire to create a supportive
and inspiring network, Nayeli is actively involved in the LUXUS collective, whose philosophy centers around the belief that freedom is a luxury, one that should be accessible to all. Drawing inspiration from artists like Dorian Electra and fka twigs, Nayeli aims to support and inspire others on their own journeys of self-discovery, weaving together political and personal narratives in their songs.

With their new single release “Claustrophobia”, Nayeli continues to challenge norms and promote inclusivity through their art.
